Meet the Cast & Creative Team

ELITIA DANIELS

AHUNNA (NANA)

22-11-23_ELITIA-DANIELS_356.jpg

Elitia Daniels is an actor, writer, and director from the San Francisco Bay Area, currently living in Atlanta, GA.  She’s always been a storyteller fascinated with the human condition, so instead of becoming a therapist, she became an actor.

In between driving to auditions, Elitia performed in black box and regional theaters around Los Angeles. Favorite appearances include Coney Island Christmas (Ensemble at Geffen Playhouse), How I Learned to Drive (Lil’Bit at Illyrian Players, and What of the Night (Greta/Lorraine at The Vagrancy Theatre Co.).  Onscreen highlights include The Big Door Prize (Apple TV), Bosch (Amazon), and Catfish (yes, that Catfish on MTV). You might also catch her running around with dogs in a national dog treat commercial.

Elitia graduated from Theatre from the School of Theatre Film and Television at UCLA with a BA in theatre and all the residual trauma that comes with art school. (That’s how she met Kate!) She’s also pretended to be at Hogwarts during a summer studying at the British American Drama Academy and pretended to be Amy Poehler taking classes with the Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles.

Elitia likes to think her entrepreneurial career began when she co-founded a children’s Shakespeare company at the age of 12. Since then she has co-created multiple projects, including a live collaboration with the Venice Symphony Orchestra, Happy Hour, which enjoyed a sold-out run at the Hollywood Fringe Festival, LifeBites (Indie Shorts Fest finalist), and a mini web series The Cable Co..

Since moving to Atlanta, GA, Elitia has worked behind the scenes as a director and producer assistant on both seasons of The Big Door Prize (Apple TV+) and Underdogs (MGM/Amazon).  When she’s not making billions of dollars acting, you can catch her on the marketing side of things, running Smitten - your new BFF in digital marketing.

DANIELLE BUTLER

POST-SHOW DISCUSSION FACILITATOR

Screenshot 2024-09-08 at 12.00_edited.pn

Danielle Butler is an accomplished actor (Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London for her masters), she is a published author (The Watermarked Trilogy) and also worked professionally in Los Angeles as a development exec and story producer.  She has a theatre background as an actor (stage, long-form improv, devising, one woman shows and playwrighting).

Check her out at the Georgia Indie Book Faire on Saturday September 14th!

A Note from Danielle: "I have been fascinated with stories my whole life. Being the youngest, I had a lot of experience both “keeping myself entertained” and being “directed” in whatever pretend-time drama my siblings concocted for us to pass time. I loved reading (natch) and movies and TV shows. None of that has changed over the years, just the way I interact with story. I spent a lot of time as a long-form improv and stage actor and more time as a development executive/producer and story producer for film & TV.

Watermarked was my first novel, and the second in the series, Landbound, launched in summer of 2020, and the final book in the trilogy, Tideborne, was released December 2021.

Car-enthusiast-adjacent, I also write about my cute Smart car and being the official “plus one” in a classic Ferrari and the places “The Mistress” (as she’s known) takes us.

American-made, I was living the exPat life in the UK, driving on the left and basically learning a new language, but I have recently returned to the States. Now I’m living in Atlanta in a hundred year old house surrounded by trees that aren’t much younger."
